In 2017 this little bundle of sweetness came to live with our family and we have never looked back. Purdey was given her name after Joanna Lumley’s character Purdey from the BBC series the Avengers. Purdey was the most perfect dog to live with and the Princess of the household. Every dog owner will have a special companion that they hold dear in their hearts, Purdey was not only mine but the favourite with all the family and every visitor. Purdey was a gentle soul, polite and courteous at all times.

Purdey’s show awards are too numerous to mention. Her show career was nothing short of outstanding and she was solely responsible for our adventures into the world of Italian Spinone competition. Not only was she a beautiful dog she has a natural talent for hunting, her ability to find game and stay on point was a marvel to watch. She gained her Kennel Club Stud Book number in 2019, which was a monumental achievement. She even won her first Novice Working test at under a year old which was a complete shock as we only went to spectate.
